I Help Mums to Thrive in Parenthood and Career

Hi, I’m Millisen (Millie) Malum Che

I'm a Mother of two adorable children. I help mothers who are struggling to juggle being a mother, wife, employee, (and everything in between) to achieve balance.

If like me, just the sound of work/life balance makes you roll your eyes and cringe, or the thought of going back to work after taking a baby break (aka maternity leave) fills you with trepidation...

Wait!

Your friends still don't get why you can't hang out again for the umpteenth time. I know that sound of “hmmm” across the room and the slant of their mouth as you yawned on the only day you managed to meet up for a quick pick me up.

Does any of this sound like you? I have been there so many times and I sure understand how that feels.

However, it doesn't have to remain that way. I've worked as a corporate professional for multinational companies, transitioned into motherhood and added the entrepreneurship cap to it.

My Story...

Merging Parenthood and Work started as a personal journal when I was pregnant with my first child. Stuck in my apartment all day with a severe case of Hyperemesis Gravidarum, I needed something to take my mind off and help me cope. Journaling was that something and so with every word written, the dots of Merged Parenthood finally started connecting.

As I returned to work, I realized that I had accumulated tools and resources that made my transition to motherhood a lot easier. That was when friends going through this same process started asking for help.

Voila! The idea of this blog was born.

Merging Parenthood and Work provides tools and resources to enable working moms to win at work and at home.

Does this sound exciting enough or like something you might need help with?

Then let's talk about it...

Life awaits, and it doesn't have to be stressful!

I joined Millie’s group session on preparing and planning for a family, planning for maternity leave and planning your return to work and it was a highly informative and transformational session.
The passion that Millie displays when she discusses what we need to pay attention to when planning for maternity leave and planning the return to paid work is contagious. She enables you to see what is possible amid the chaos and this is mind blowing. Thank you, Millie for all that you do.
